Certificate Course In Malay Language Proficiency
Overview The certificate course in language is meant to develop general Malay language proficiency. It is targeted for adult learners. The course takes an integrated approach, covering the four language skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening. Benefits Elementary Level At the end of the 3 months each participants is expected to be able to: Express themselves in very simple language; Read and understand short and simple texts; Write short paragraphs in simple language on precise topics Intermediate Level At the end of this stage students should be able to : Converse in specific social contexts; Read and understand texts which are more difficult than those in the Elementary Level Write simple essays and short personal letters Advanced Level At the end of this stage students should have acquired the following skills: Speaking on various social academic and professional matters . Reading and understanding long and difficult texts for the purpose of critical appreciation and interpretation; Writing essays, reports, official and unofficial letters and anything considered relevant to specific contexts Back to Top Programme Structure The course is in three (3) levels, each lasting 3 months at 8 hours per week. Elementary Level
At the end of the 3 months each participants is expected to be able to:

At the end of this stage students should be able to :
