Executive Diploma in Production and Operation Management

Overview

The Executive Diploma in Production and Operation Management (EDPOM) is a 13 (thirteen) months part-time programme offered in collaboration between University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed) and SIRIM Training Services Sdn. Bhd. The aim of the programme is to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of production and operation management  and to equip them with a strong base for onward career progression and development . The course is conducted in English as well as in Bahasa Malaysia.

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to :

  • clearly understand the policies, practices and principles of the companies involved in manufacturing industry;

  • understand the management styles as well as the operations in the manufacturing industries;

Entry Requirements

  • SPM 3 credits with 3 years of working experience, OR

  • STPM 2 principles with 2 years of working experience, OR

  • Diploma recognized by UM with 1 year of working experience, OR

  • Degree in any discipline, recognized by UM

(Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements above will be considered through an interview session.)
