Executive Diploma in Productivity and Quality Management

Overview

The Executive Diploma in Productivity and Quality Management (EDPQM) is a 13 (thirteen) months part-time programme offered in collaboration between University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed) and SIRIM Training Services Sdn. Bhd. The aim of the programme is to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of productivity and quality management  and to equip them with a strong base for onward career progression and development . The course is conducted in English as well as in Bahasa Malaysia.

 

Benefits
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to :

  • understand the fundamentals of productivity and quality management and able to manage the organization according to the needs of the industry

  • clearly understand the management system and ISO9001 Quality System

  • apply totally the principles and practices of quality management

  • assist an organization to enhance performance based on the ISO standards

  • enhance performance as well as productivity of an organization based on the implementation of the Quality Management System

Entry Requirements

  • SPM 3 credits with 3 years of working experience, OR

  • STPM 2 principles with 2 years of working experience, OR

  • Diploma recognized by UM with 1 year of working experience, OR

  • Degree in any discipline, recognized by UM

(Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements above will be considered through an interview session.)
