Application must be made through the prescribed form, which may be obtained from UMCCed office or can be downloaded here.

 

All enclosed academic records and other supporting documents must be certified true copies.

A complete application should consist of the following items:

A complete, signed application form
1 copy of Mykad / Identification Card
1 copy of SPM/ MCE or GCE 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent
2 copies of passport size photograph


Additional Requirements :

Processing fees of RM25.00 (postal order/money order) payable to UMCCed.(Non-refundable)

Overview
The Diploma in Management programme is offered specially for school leavers interested to pursue a career in organisational management and administration. This programme will provide students the skills and knowledge required in management as well as exposure to basic aspects of organisational management including management, marketing, finance, management information systems, human resource management and strategy implementation. Curriculum, course content, academic standards and course evaluation are specifically designed to enable students to gain and develop the skills and knowledge relevant for a career in management.

Career and Academic Path
Graduates of the Diploma in Management programme will have the opportunity to further their studies to a Bachelor Degree in related fields at local universities.

The graduates of this programme will be able to obtain positions such as Assistant Administrative Officers at government departments and statutory bodies subject to the conditions of public services. The graduates will also be qualified to hold various posts in the private sector up to management levels.
 

Course Structure
Students must complete a total of 92 credit hours in order to be awarded the Diploma in Management.

They must take and pass all 25 courses/subjects prescribed as Institution Compulsory Courses, Core Courses and Programme Courses.

Fees

  • Course Fees
    The total Course Fee is RM17,890
    The course fee is inclusive of registration, notes, examination, insurance and other services fees.
    (Not inclusive of accommodation and transportation)
     
  • Payment Method
    Fees can be paid either in lump sum or by instalment.

     
  • Financing of Studies
    Students are eligible to apply for PTPTN education loans. Additionally, parents of applicants are also eligible to withdraw their EPF savings (Account 2) to finance the course fee.
