Fundamentals of electrochemistry and industrial applications include processes such as synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds, the conversion and storage of energy and galvanic deposition of metals and alloys. Electrochemical methods also play a lead role in corrosion protection, sensor devices and technologies where charge transfer takes place at an electrified interface. Optimization of electrochemical methods and processes based on the fundamental laws of electrochemistry will be addressed.
