This course provides an overview on the concepts of laboratory automation from the aspects of financial justification; project management; laboratory process flow and the use of technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory operations; Introduction to the aspects of data acquisition; the technologies involved in data acquisition and laboratory informatics. This course exposes students to the various aspects of lab automation endeavours
