English and the Performing Arts
This course enables students to develop their productive and performative skills in English through active participation in performance work. Students will learn how to adapt a text into a performance through both verbal and non-verbal processes. The course will also focus upon specific performative arts processes such as stage and event management
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants are able to:
1. Apply the language, vocabulary and concepts of the performing arts.
2. Perform creative works for stage and/or film.
3. Organize performance arts projects
