Reading and Writing 1
This course trains students to read Arabic texts and write essays at intermediate level (CEFR level B2) in different fields such as religion, education, socio-cultural, health and sports. Emphasis is given to the reading of Arabic texts in terms of vocabulary, content, grammar and balaghah aspects. Besides that, students will be trained to write essays using the correct Arabic grammar structures.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants are able to:
- Explain the meaning of vocabulary and content in Arabic texts read in various fields such as religion, education, socio-cultural, health and sports.
- Describe the grammatical and balaghah aspects of Arabic texts read in that field/in that particular field
- Perform writing according to the/with correct Arabic grammar.
