Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 3.00;

Obtained at least Grade B at STPM level in Syariah/Usuluddin subjects;

Pass the Foundation of Islamic Studies (University of Malaya) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00;

and
Pass Mathematics at SPM level;

Obtained at least band 2.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 2.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application.

and
Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview.

(Current Year)

Obtained of at least Jayyid Jiddan in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM);

and
Obtained at least Grade B at SPM level in any two (2) of the following subjects:

• Arabic language / Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mu’asirah / Turath Bahasa Arab
• Education of Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah / Maharat Al-Quran / Al-Syariah / Turath Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah
• Islamic Sharia Education / Hifz Al-Quran / Usul Al-Din
• Tasawwur Islam;

and
Pass Mathematics at SPM level;

and
Obtained at least band 2.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 2.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application.

Arts Stream

REQUIREMENT 1

Possess a Diploma in a relevant field of Islamic Studies recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University Senate with a minimum CGPA of 3.00;

and
Obtained at least Grade B at SPM level in Arabic / Al-Lughah Al- Arabiah Al-Mu’asirah / Turath Bahasa Arab and at least Grade B at Diploma level in Arabic;

and
Pass Mathematics at SPM level;

and
Obtained at least band 2.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 2.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application.

and
Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview;

and
Aged not more than 30 years when submitting the application.

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Pass STPM not in the current year with at least CGPA 3.00 and obtained at least Grade B at STPM level in Syariah/Usuluddin subjects;

and
Obtained at least Grade B at STPM level in Arabic;

and
Pass Mathematics at SPM level;

and
Obtained at least band 2.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 2.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application.

and
Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview;

and
Aged not more than 30 years when submitting the application.

• National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade B or 80% in the subjects on the CGE / A-level or equivalent;
• A Diploma from recognized Institutions with the least a CGPA of 3.00

and

Take and pass Malay and/or English courses. Exceptions are given to candidates who have one of the following approvals:

• Score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT) in TOEFL
• Band of 6.0 and above in IELTS (Academic)
• Grade C6 and above in Malay or English for General Certificate of Secondary Education (0 Level), University of Cambridge

Students must complete a total of 145 credit in order to be awarded the Bachelor of Islamic Education (Quranic Studies).

Students must take and pass all courses / subjects prescribed as:

RM 47,430.00*

Note: The amount of funding allocated is limited and can only cover part of the fees.

  EPF contributors can withdraw their savings to finance their own or their children's education at local higher learning institutions.

The minimum period of study is 8 semesters and the maximum period of study is 12 semesters.
