MATRICULATION  FOUNDATION  

Science / Accounting / TESL Stream (Current Year)

DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT

REQUIREMENT 1

Possessed a Diploma in English as a Second Language (ESL) or Diploma in English or the equivalent from any institutions recognized by the Government of Malaysia and the University senate with a minimum CGPA of 3.00;

and
Obtained of at least Grade A in SPM for English Language;

and
Obtained at least Grade C in SPM for Mathematics;

and
Obtained at least band 4.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 4.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

and
Pass the Malaysian Education Selection (MEdSI) test and interview.

and
Aged not more than 30 years when submitting the application.

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Pass STPM not in current year with at least CGPA 3.00;

and
Obtained of at least Grade A in SPM for English Language;

Obtained at least Grade C in SPM for Mathematics;

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENT 1

Pass GCE A Level with at least one (1) Grade B and two (2) Grade C in any subject;

and
Obtained of at least Grade A in SPM for English Language;

and
Obtained at least Grade C in SPM for Mathematics;

and
Obtained at least band 4.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 4.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

However, applicants who do not have MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional offer by fulfilling the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session:

Obtained at least Band 5.5 in IELTS (Academic); with at least Band 5.5 score in Speaking

or
Obtained score of at least 513 points (PBT) / 183 points (CBT) / 65 points (IBT) in TOEFL; with at least 18 score for speaking;

and
Pass the Malaysian Education Selection (MEdSI) test and interview.

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Pass International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) with at least score of 30 points;

and
Obtained of at least Grade A in SPM for English Language;

and
Obtained at least Grade C in SPM for Mathematics;

and
Obtained at least band 4.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 4.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

However, applicants who do not have MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional offer by fulfilling the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session:

Obtained at least band 4.0 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the exam session 1 of 2021 or band 4.0 for examination up to the year of 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

Students must complete a total of 133 credits in order to be awarded the Bachelor of Education Teaching of English as a Second Language.

Students must take and pass all courses / subjects prescribed as:
